NuPlon™ is a unique patent-pending platform technology that provides a mechanically robust, internally-crosslinked, biodegradable plastic that can be cured into a variety of shapes and used in a wide array of applications such as commodity and household products. Upon exposure to water or humidity, NuPlon material begins to slowly degrade breaking down into its components over the course of 2-4 months. This biodegradation removes products made from NuPlon plastic from the ocean water cycle and provides for reduced environmental impact relative to conventional plastics.
